Privacy policy
Effective 5 November 2026
Windsights.ai ("we", "us") builds AI agents for property and casualty insurance. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and what choices you have.
It covers this website only. It does not cover customer data that is processed inside the LLMira Suite. That data is governed by the agreement we make with each customer.
1. What we collect
What you give us. When you use the demo request form we collect your name, work email address, company, role (executive, business or product leader, or technology and architecture) and any message you write. If you email us, including at our careers address, we keep the email and anything you attach.
What our hosting collects. Our website is hosted on Microsoft Azure. The hosting service processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time, so that it can deliver the site and keep it secure.
Cookies and tracking. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
2. How we use it
- To reply to your demo request and arrange a walkthrough.
- To follow up about our products, if you asked us to or if it is closely related to your request.
- To assess job applications you send us.
- To keep the website secure and to detect spam and abuse.
- To meet our legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiles or for decisions that have legal effects on you.
3. Our legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)
Where data protection law such as the GDPR applies, we rely on: taking steps at your request, when we answer your demo request; our legitimate interests in running a business and keeping the site secure, which we balance against your rights; your consent, where we ask for it; and legal obligation, where the law requires us to keep or share information.
4. Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us run the site and handle your messages, such as Microsoft Azure, which hosts this website and delivers the messages you send through the demo request form to us by email. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, under duties of confidentiality.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect rights and safety.
- A buyer or successor, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We would tell you and the new owner would have to respect this policy.
5. Transfers between countries
Our providers may process information in the United States and in other countries. Where the law requires safeguards for transfers, such as the EU standard contractual clauses, we use them or rely on another lawful transfer mechanism.
6. How long we keep it
- Demo requests: for as long as we need to deal with your request and follow up, and then no longer than 24 months, unless you become a customer or ask us to delete it sooner.
- Job applications: up to 12 months after the role is filled, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Hosting and security logs: for a short period, as set by our hosting provider.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and limits on who can see it. No system is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive information through the website.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to: tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; move it to another provider; and withdraw consent you have given. You may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Residents of California and some other US states may also have the right to know what we collect, to delete or correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.
To use any of these rights, email privacy@windsights.ai. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we aim to reply within 30 days.
9. Children
This website is for business visitors and is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Links to other sites
Our pages may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will say so on this page.
